About

Géraldine Chollet
A graduate of the Laban Centre in London, Géraldine Chollet has developed an artistic practice at the intersection of dance and theatre. As a performer, she has collaborated with several companies, including Cie Jessica Huber, Cie Prototype-Status, Cie Philippe Saire and Cie Unplush. Alongside this work, she also performs as an actor with Cie Émilie Charriot and Fair Cie.
She trained with Ohad Naharin and the Batsheva Dance Company in the teaching of the Gaga movement language. She pioneered the introduction of Gaga in Switzerland, helping to establish and share the practice with dance and theatre professionals and enthusiasts across the country. From 2008 to 2025, she taught in a wide range of contexts, including at La Manufacture – HETSR, Bern Ballet, Cie Philippe Saire and in Annexe 36 in Lausanne. After nearly twenty years devoted to teaching and transmission, she chose to step out from Gaga Ltd for political and personal reasons. She continues to teach movement independently, outside this institutional framework.
Since 2011, Géraldine has been developing her choreographic work with Cie Rahu LaMo, creating several pieces, including ITMAR, OUVERTURE – a piece for dancers and a walking audience – and La Tendresse du ventre de la baleine.
Alongside her artistic practice, she has trained in spiritual care in hospital settings. She also coaches contemporary music singers and musicians in stage presence, working with Fondation FMA / Les Docks and Opération Iceberg / Fondation CMA.
In 2025, she received the Swiss Performing Arts Award.

Rahu LaMo
